EA Sports Academy was founded by Jermaine Edmondson — Michigan State alum and 3x Big Ten Champion — who saw a gap in Sacramento: youth athletes with real talent and no pathway to elite-level development. He built the academy to close that gap.

Jermaine's journey from standout high school athlete to Division I competitor at Michigan State shaped everything about EA Sports Academy. After competing at the highest levels of college football and earning three Big Ten Championships, he channeled that experience into building a premier development program focused on skill, football IQ, leadership, and character — preparing athletes not just for the next game, but for the next level.
